Inspirational Verses

While I was still recovering in the hospital having lost our little girl, my parents brought me a ‘Hope Book’.  It was a booklet my dad had put together filled with hope-filled verses and quotes.  This became my lifeline in finding hope in God and keeping my eyes on Him!

I’d love to share some of these verses that became my inspiration and focus in the intense storm I was then in (please note, some of these are simply snippits of the larger verse, or even declarations based on the mentioned verse).  Enjoy!

  • When my heart is faint, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2
  • God walks with you. Leviticus 26:12
  • My help comes from the Lord. Psalm 121:2
  • Wait on the Lord: Be of good courage.  And He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say on the Lord! Psalm 27:14

I encourage you to flip through your own Bible and find verses that speak personally to you.  My grieving experience will be different than the next person’s, so we will likely have different scripture’s speak to us in different ways.

    My hope-filled verse is “Weeping may last for a night but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5
